About Big Blue Technologies
Big Blue Technologies (BBT) was founded in 2015 as a spin-out from the University of Colorado at Boulder’s department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
Our magnesium technology journey began at a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 0. Since then, we’ve built 10 major reactor and condenser systems and scaled over 1000x into TRL 6.
The team is grateful to ARPA-E, NSF, the state of Colorado, and Garrison Minerals for all these years of support.
